Wood Control Technology is a newly started automation company that will become active in the wood industry and mainly with a focus on the Sawmill industry.
Mikael Jonsson, EMJI Styr och Datorteknik, together with Mikael Augustsson, Fagersta PLC AB founded the company in 2021 and with the aim of jointly offering a stronger and broadened alternative to the Wood industry.
Mikael Jonsson and Mikael Augustsson, the two principals and owners of WCT, have a long-standing presence in the sawmill industry and are both visionaries who like challenges to develop new products and system solutions that take technology development forward. All the combined knowledge and unique industry experience, contributes to Wood Control being a strong alternative, able to deliver complete solutions within PLC controls in the different production processes that take place at a sawmill.
A total of 13 people is currently active in the company and WE have just started a powerful growth journey and with the ambition to grow!
We handle upgrades and new deliveries of controls together with safety solutions within:
- Log sorting
- Saw intakes, with Debarkers
- Saw lines & Equipment in ground floor
- Green & Dry sorters, together with sorting applications.
- Planer lines
