Karl Segerström AB sawmill in Fagersta, Västmanland, takes further control of its sawn products. In a few weeks, the first Vision Control – EDGER will be installed in their Edger line. The equipment will sit after their board Edger and in real time measure width and check that the boards have full edged width and that there is no “Wedge”.
Previously, the customer also has a Vision Control – SAW installed in the sawline.
The Vision Control family consists of:
Vision Control – SAW (non-contact dimensional measurement after band saw, arbor saw, profiler)
Vision Control – EDGER (non-contact dimensional measurement after board edger)
Vision Control – PLANER (non-contact dimensional measurement after planer)
At Sälen Timber AB, a Vision Control – PLANER will be installed in a few weeks and after this, the whole family will be up and running!
