We have had our “Doctor Saw” Vision Control – SAW installed for a long time at Karl Segerströms AB. Each sawn block is measured and each sawn piece is saved in a database. The assignment from the customer was that it was to increase the dimensional stability of their split saw ARI DS.
Based on collected facts and with the staff’s input, we have now worked with adjustments in the various machines in their saw line. What was really fun and welcoming was that Inge Engström, who had previously retired, was available to help us at Wood Control Technology to join this process. The assignment with the dimensional stability was successful and we continue to sharpen their saw line.
